Juice Beauty Review | Green and Organic Skincare

Juice Beauty Exfoliator Review

I love when good brands also happened to be organic, and earth conscious. That’s just the case with Juice Beauty, one of the very first green beauty brands I started to use back in 2010. Founded in 2005 by a California-based mom, the brand focuses on powerful science-backed organic ingredients that make a big impact on the health and appearance of your skin. And it really works.

I first started to use their GREEN APPLE® Peel in 2010 when I bought it at Honey Fig in North York. I’ve been following the brand ever since, and have wanted to try their colour cosmetics for a very long time. I haven't bit the bullet, because they do have a pretty high price tag ($30-$60 ea) but I am absolutely tempted now that I know how much I love their extended range of skin care. Here's how I've faired with the scrub, peel and serum from this intriguing farm-to-beauty, cruelty free line.

The Best Retinol at the Drugstore | Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye and Face Creams

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Review

It's hard to recommend drugstore products since the market is so incredibly saturated - with both great things, and very mediocre things. One brand I have loved forever is Neutrogena, and more specifically their Rapid Wrinkle Repair line with Retinol SA. I recently saw an article shared online where Nicole Kidman sung its praises, and was inspired to share my experience too.

Best Fall Home Fragrance | NEST Pumpkin Chai Reed Diffuser Review

NEST Pumpkin Chai Reed Diffuser

Thanksgiving has come and gone, and the time is now to make your house smell of fall. I’m not a big fan of candles because I’m highly forgetful and know for certain that I will lose sleep over the idea of my house lighting on fire. I used to hound Bath and Body Works for their plugins and hand sanitizers,  but recently decided to invest in more premium home fragrance products from brands like NEST and Atelier Cologne since they are so much more tolerable - less cloying and more natural. I nearly squealed when I saw this Pumpkin Chai Reed Diffuser in a press release, and can happily report that it lives up to all expectations.

SEB MAN THE MULTI-TASKER Review | 3-in-1 Beard, Hair & Body Wash

SEBMAN THE MULTI-TASKER Review

I'm always intrigued by which toiletries my boyfriend Joseph gravitates towards, because he has such a simple routine that results in pretty flawless skin and hair. I think most of that is thanks to genetics, but I'm still intrigued nonetheless. This product, the "Multitasker" from SEB MAN is something that he can't get enough of, and it's easy to understand why. It's truly an all-in-one!

Thursday Plantation & Kosmea Reviews | Abundance Naturally

Abundance Naturally

I was recently introduced to Abundance Naturally, a distributor of Australian health, wellness, and beauty brands in North America. I didn't realize that two brands I've tried before, Thursday Plantation and KOSMEA, are Australian and totally fab. I reviewed Thursday Plantation's oils before here and wanted to share my thoughts on some of these products too.

MAC CANADIAN ORIGINALS | Allanaramaa Tutorial

M.A.C @AllanaRamaa Influencer Kit

I got very excited when I saw Allanaramaa's MAC Canadian Originals makeup kit released earlier this summer, and the love has persisted throughout fall. I literally bought 7 kits at her launch event at HBC Eatons. Not all Allana ones, but still... 7 in total. There are two more sets that suit asian and darker skin tones, curated by @Aankita.B and @CherMyCloset. $65 for 6 full-size products (and a whole bunch of fabulous samples at the launch) is a killer deal! Not to mention the fact that my favourite Teddy eyeliner is included, I even got a backup. Keep reading to see my complete look and tutorial.

Today was a record-breakingly warm October 1st, and it made me reflect on the products that really stood out over the past few months. This has to be one of my most important roundups of this year, since they're 5 things that have made a huge impact on my skin during the summer, and ones that I'll now never go without.
