Thursday Plantation & Kosmea Reviews | Abundance Naturally

I was recently introduced to Abundance Naturally, a distributor of Australian health, wellness, and beauty brands in North America. I didn't realize that two brands I've tried before, Thursday Plantation and KOSMEA, are Australian and totally fab. I reviewed Thursday Plantation's oils before here and wanted to share my thoughts on some of these products too.

Thursday Plantation claims to be the top selling Tea Tree Oil brand for consumer use in the world. This is due to its proven efficacy and superior formulations. Thursday Plantation offers a unique range of health and beauty products, all derived from nature’s oils, to restore your skin to its healthiest. In addition to the brands tea tree range, the brand also produces a variety of other essential oils including Eucalyptus and Lavender.

I really loved all three of the products I tried from them, the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser, the Cleansing Wipes and Tea Tree Spot Treatment.

My favourite product has to be the spot treatment. It doesn't bleach like Benzoyl Peroxide, and it has a fantastic soft gel texture that dries flat so you can wear it day or night. I apply this as my last step, and use a liberal amount on any active breakouts. It's gentle, but effective. The foaming wash and wipes are pretty standard, and both work great to give your skin a deep and refreshing cleanse - while healing and preventing acne.

KOSMEA cleanser and night mask

KOSMEA, is an Australian natural skincare brand, and international success story. Founded in 1993, the KOSMEA mission is to change the way people treat their skin by using effective natural skincare, free from harmful synthetic ingredients. KOSMEA continues to evolve as a leader in the natural skincare space, with Rose Hip Oil as the key ingredient.

I like the pure KOSMEA Rose Hip Oil that comes in a little dropper, as it's proven to effectively reduce scars, wrinkles and restore skin tone and elasticity. I will mix this into a moisturizer to heal and reduce scars, while also applying on healing breakouts to soften scabs and speed up healing. This is a nighttime product only.

I didn't get on with the KOSMEA cleanser or night mask, simply because they were too emollient for my combination skin. I passed these on to my mom, who has more normal and less acne-prone skin. If you have exceptionally dry skin, definitely check out this collection - it's very rich in non-drying ingredients.
