As a longtime lover of Essence Cosmetics (reviews here) I've been wanting to try their sister brand CATRICE Cosmetics for many many years. Hailing from Germany, this is a European drugstore brand that has finally made it's way to North America. You can find CATRICE at Shoppers Drug Mart - shop online here. Below you'll find my tutorial using and reviewing a ton of products from CATRICE, and a few new items from AVON as well.
This is the complete look! For my base, I used the CATRICE Prime & Fine Anti-Red Base, which is a very pigmented green primer that neutralized redness. The CATRICE 1 Minute Face Perfector 010 is a new favourite of mine. The line and pore smoothing primer has a bit of colour and makes my foundation glide on beautifully. The CATRICE HD Liquid Coverage Foundation in 35 Natural Beige was extremely high coverage and I didn't need a lot. The shade is too dark for me, as you can tell, so I'll mix it with The Body Shop Lightening Drops next time. I am a massive fan of the CATRICE Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer in 007 Natural Rose, and am using it on a daily basis as a weightless, long-lasting concealer.
I also used my super sparkly AVON Glimmer Shadows, the Glimmersticks Liners (so-so) and their AMAZING Soft Matte Liquid Lipsticks.
A massive favourite for me is the CATRICE California in a Box contour, highlight and blush palette. The shades are all pigmented, not too powdery, perfect for my skin tone and the packaging is good quality. I would absolutely recommend trying CATRICE when you need a new makeup product.
