Summer is upon us, so now's the time to shake up our skin and haircare routines with the help of Hair RemedieSunIn and Vichy. See my favourites from these brands below and how I incorporate their products into my daily life.

1. Speed up your hair styling time with a frizz-reducing towel

Hair Remedie is the next generation of hair towels that works to protect your hair while drying it faster, without frizz or damage. I love how this female-owned brand is focusing their efforts to help other women avoid frizzy hair days, with one simple addition in their routine.

The outer cotton fabric of this hair towel protects your hair, while the inner layer of ultra-absorbent cloth soaks up all the excess water. Your hair will look great every time and require less effort with better results.

The Hair Remedie towel is a generous 39 inches across and 25 inches wide. It is large enough to dry even the longest, thickest hair and works for all hair types and textures. This towel keeps curls intact, waves stay together, and straight hair doesn’t get the added frizz - which always plagues me in the warmer months. I shared the purple one with my mama and I can't wait to see what she thinks.

I like to shower at night, so I frequently go to bed with damp hair and don't have enough time to heat style in the morning. I'll use my Hair Remedie towel to dry my wet hair, then I'll wrap or scrunch my hair dry with the towel. I'll wake up with such soft, smooth, "French Girl" hair that holds an effortless wave.

The Hair Remedie fabric is a combination of jersey knit and cloth (80% Cotton, 20% Polyester) which helps hair dry quicker compared to regular terrycloth. This super-absorbent towel removes excess water, and results in healthier hair that requires less styling and products. Hair Remedie is made in the USA, it is machine washable, and dryer friendly. It's great item for home use, but can also be taken to the gym for the after workout shower, pool, or beach side to dry wet hair.

2. Change or refresh your hair colour naturally with SunIn

SunIn has been around since the 90's, so, they must be doing something right! You can easily add a boost of sunshine to your medium-brown or blonde hair with heat activation, not just SUN-activation. All you need is clean damp hair, a bottle of Tropical Breeze or Lemon Fresh SunIn, and a hair dryer. This is the fastest, easiest way to lighten hair - even without the help of the sun.

Prep for summer and get an early start on your naturally lighter, brighter hair look with the magical work of SunIn. This updated formula is alcohol-free and conditions hair while it lightens for optimal shine and body. Available in two varieties: Tropical Breeze or Lemon Fresh.

3. Recharge dry & dehydrated skin with Vichy Aqualia Thermal

Combo skin means I experience the oiliest of the oily, and the driest of the dry no matter what time of year it is. I've been having some angry acne spots and very flaky patches lately, so Vichy's Aqualia Thermal line has been a true lifesaver.

The Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Serum contains 97% naturally-derived ingredients, including Hyaluronic Acid, Vichy mineralizing water, and a plant sugar called "mannose". After removing my makeup with an oil cleanser, removing left over dirt with a gel cleanser, and gently exfoliating with a muslin cloth, I'll tone with Pixi Glow Tonic then apply this refreshing serum. My skin is instantly dewy, it feels comfortable, and stays hydrated for 12+ hours. I use this morning and night.

Following my serum, I need a moisturizer - especially at night. The Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Water Gel is awesome for summer since most oily moisturizers run the risk of leaving me with clogged pores when it's hot out. I also believe that it's a smart decision to use the same brand for your serum and moisturizer, to ensure they'll layer and compliment each other nicely. This gel cream leaves my skin plumped and glowing, immediately. I'll use it alone in the morning too, it sits great under makeup.
