I love my Caffitaly espresso machine, and I never want to use anything else for my morning cup of Jo. I had a few extra pods of espresso hanging around from Nespresso and found a way to reuse some of my old Caffitaly pods!
What you'll need:
- Used Caffitaly espresso pod
- Fresh espresso grounds - 1 serving
- tin foil - enough to cover the top of the pod twice
- Small spoon to scoop out old coffee grounds
- Sink and towel to clean the components of your pod
This is what the pods look like completely dismantled and cleaned from the old espresso grounds.
Here's a video showing the process of refilling Caffitaly single-use coffee pod:
This is what the regular Caffitaly pods look like compared to my reused version before and after brewing.

Et voilà ! A little hack to help reduce, reuse and recycle.
