I've been loving a whole bunch of new makeup and skin stuff lately, so I wanted to share 5 standout products from the month of April.
1. Venus Platinum Extra Smooth Razor
The Venus Platinum Razor couldn't have come at a better time. I stopped waxing my shins because I'm experiencing some irritation and bumps, and shaving is helping to get my hairs in check (and hopefully prep my skin before trying laser some time in the fall). The metal handle on this razor is so heavy and luxe, I really enjoy the white grippy bit and the razors themselves are amazing. So sharp, but not skin-slicing. My mom found this cushion foundation for me at Loblaws for $1 on clearance, and I am using it as a quick touch-up foundation on the go. The finish is so natural and smoothing, it gives me life. If you want something similar, I'd look to Maybelline.4. Gigi Hadid for Maybelline Liner
The Gigi Hadid for Maybelline collection is awesome. I used the eyeshadow palette in a Get Ready With Me Video here, and I've been using the black eyeliner religiously whenever I want a dramatic eye. Buy it here for $11.96.5. MAC Pink Plaid Lipstick
Throughout the year I always teeter between coral and powder pink colours on my cheeks and lips. Right now I'm in a pink phase, and MAC Pink Plaid has been living in my handbag. It's a great fresh pink that can be dressed up or down, and leaves a matte finish.
