Periwinkle Patterns

Scarf - C&A, Tank - Aritzia, Skirt - Forever 21, Belt and Bag - Vintage, Wedges - Natura

Although the weather here in Saint-Étienne has been much cooler on average than in years past, I'm not complaining since I'll take any excuse to invest in some new pants and scarves. Also, cool nights make sleeping much easier since a/c isn't a thing here.

I was browsing around the local mall and happened to come across a gorgeous array of scarves at C&A (oh no!). I was captivated by all the unique colours and patterns on this soft summery scarf, and couldn't pass it up for 10 . I've been able to wear it with almost every outfit I have and can't wait to mix it in with my upcoming fall and winter wardrobe.

I found this sweet little woven bag back home and have been getting lots of use out of it this summer. I love how it's very structured and has a secure lock at the top which is very easy to open when necessary. Shopping second-hand can be a bit unappealing, but there's nothing quite like finding a beautiful and unique accessory for next to nothing.

The sun did peek it's head out for a bit last week so I was able to get some use out of one of my favourite skirts that I brought along for the trip. I was so happy to have found this piece at Forever 21 a few years back since off-white lace is one of my faves. It easily transitions throughout all seasons and can be dressed up or down.

Another recent french buy was this Bourjois nail polish in the shade "Adora-bleu". I was absolutely drawn to it since it's the exact same shade as my beloved Talula tank. The polish itself is quite opaque, requiring only one or two coats to achieve the optimal finish. I find that the more opaque a polish is, the faster it chips. This one did stay relatively chip-free for around 5 days, but definitely didn't hold up as long as most of my polishes. I am still head over heels for this creamy blue hue and can see myself wearing it time and time again.

I've just passed the half-way point in my european adventure and couldn't have asked for anything more. Although Saint-Etienne has been a lovely home for the past few weeks, I can't wait to experience the sights and sounds of some more amazing cities.

xx
