On a lunch break back in November I escaped the cold, to explore the beautiful spring/summer showroom for French Connection. I had the pleasure of attending their Fall preview in 2014, which you can read about here.
This brand has always been a staple in mine and my sisters' wardrobes, for their ever-so-sleek evening wear, high quality swimwear and classic (read: racy) tees playing up the FCUK logo.
The colour palette for Spring Summer 2017 is warm, yet cool. Structured, but relaxed. I'm so interested in all of the florals, which will surely make their way into my weekly workwear rotation.
On my shopping list? These pleated short sleeve blouses. Paired with pencil pants or a cute skirt, I'm definitely going to pop into Sherway to try them on within the next few weeks. (Or simply order online!)
French Connection accessories are always really fun, and completely affordable. I'm a backpack wearer, so my eye is on the pretty flower one up top.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this new collection, since I'm getting pickier in regards to texture, detail and overall quality of my new closet additions. The good news is that this entire collection is awesome. From rich embroidery to the incredibly delicate loops on the orange dress above, I can see all women finding outfits at French Connection for either lounging in the sun, or pairing with a chic evening jacket.
