Lingerie Soufflé Skin Perfecting Color $49
What a unique base product. Stila's opulently-whipped, refreshing and lightweight primer/base is like a Korean BB cream LTE. The Skin Perfecting Color contains very sheer pigment and light refracting particles to smooth, blur and even skin tone. It definitely makes your blemishes and unevenness subdued and blurred, but will not provide much coverage. That's why they only have 8 shades, which will cover a multitude of skin tones since they are so sheer. The skin-loving formula contains botanicals and over 70% water for a comfortable feel, all day.
How to apply:
Blend a modest dollop into skin with fingers. Sponges don't work very well with this, and brushes will leave it too streaky.
Important to note:
This is a water-based product, so it cannot be layered over silicone or oil-based primer or moisturizer. This is also a quick drying product, so you have to rub it in right away and it will apply evenly.Lingerie Soufflé Skin Perfecting Primer $47
This is like the untinted version of the Perfecting Color, but with more of a skin-plumping effect. I have this glorious primer it in the shade Sheer Illumination, and first reviewed it here. The rush of freshness with this luxurious primer never gets old, you can absolutely feel water being delivered into your skin and it is a godsend on tired mornings. The whipped gel formula is available in an illuminating or bronzing finish. The light-refracting pearls add a natural-looking glow with a blurring, skin perfecting effect. It is on-par with Smashbox and Urban Decay pricing, since you get 1.0 fl. oz./30 mL in the pot.
These glass jars are simply gorgeous, and always make me so happy to use. I adore both the gold and rose gold caps, and will absolutely reuse them after the product is gone. Note that they are quite heavy and cumbersome though, and the jar serves more aesthetic purposes rather than useful purposes! Definitely decant into a small plastic container for travel.
