Products I've Used Up #8

In the spirit of Spring cleaning, it's time for another batch of product empties!

✓ I love and would repurchase
✓ I would recommend, but would not repurchase
✗ I do not like and would not recommend

✓ Thayer's Alcohol Free Witch Hazel in Cucumber - A staple in my collection, this toner is gentle and effective at keeping my skin hydrated and happy.

✓ Immortelle Oil Makeup Remover - I can't sing their praises enough. L'OCCITANE makes some of the best skincare around, and nothing tops this makeup remover. Will repurchase time and time again.

✗ The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Foam - This dried out my skin like mad. No-go!

✓ Air Optix Night&Day Contacts - I wanted to mention these since they were my favourite monthly lenses when I was at school. Would totally recommend them for those of you who also have dry eyes.

✓ Shiseido Facial Cotton - Still the best cotton squares out there, though I know Muji has some pretty great options at much more affordable price points. I have their unbleached cotton pads which have been pretty nice.

✓ Sensodyne Pronamel Toothpaste - This was an OK toothpaste, I didn't notice a big difference in my tooth sensitivity when I used it. I'll stick to my classic Sensodyne instead.

✓ GUM Professional Clean Flossers - I love these! Would like for the picker end to be a bit more useful, but overall these are a lazy girl's best friend.

✓ Jamieson Vitamin D3 - Vitamin D is so important in the gloomy winter months, and I'm always pleased with this brand. Vitamin D is the only supplement I take.

✓ Marcelle XTENSION Plus Curl Mascara - Middle of the road mascara that grew on me with time. I like the curved brush, but it did occasionally get clumpy/flaky on my lashes so I won't repurchase.

✓ Clarisonic Sensitive Skin Brush Head - I have always been loyal my Clarisonic, though I am enjoying the FOREO Luna more and more. Once all of my brush heads are done (which won't be for some time) I can't see myself buying more. Too expensive!

✓ Equate Nail Polish Remover with Vitamin E - This is a lovely product for dissolving basic polish. I'd recommend.

✓ The Body Shop Almond Hand & Nail Cream - I ended up using this cream on my legs and feet in the winter, it was amazing! I'm more into balms for my hands, a thicker product to last overnight.

Lotus Aroma Bath & Body Wash Orange & Mandarin - This was a beautiful body wash that made my skin feel soft, clean and comfortable after use. The scent was good! Great for spring.

Clarins Sunscreen Care Oil-Free Lotion Spray - A super refreshing spray SPF that works very well throughout the day on the arms and legs.

L'Occitane Shea Hand Cream - A handbag staple, this lotion is great for on the go.

✓ AG Hair Tech 1ne Normal Shampoo - This shampoo and conditioner duo (still working on the conditioner) is UNREAL. I love it! Must repurchase.

Psssst! Dry Shampoo - This was a great little bottle for travel, but it isn't my favourite dry shampoo. Would go for Klorane, Batiste or Dry Bar instead.

✓ Lotus Aroma Hand Soap Fleur de Pomelo - A really beautiful soap in a huge bottle that lasts a long time. The scent was ok, not my favourite. It foamed up well and left my hands soft, I even used it on my makeup brushes.

✓ Nivea Happy Time 48h Roll-On Liquid Deodorant - This is my HG deodorant, and I'm so sad that this fragrance is discontinued. I have since repurchased 3 of these, and my favourite so far is the blue Protect & Care.

Until next time,
xx
